I’m Greg Henry AMP, the proud owner of a thriving mortgage agency.

I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

I have always wanted a career that connected me to people and involved problem-solving. I found my calling to the mortgage world after I realized that my strength was helping people obtain a mortgage and achieve their homeownership, debt management, and investment goals.  When I emigrated to Canada from Jamaica, I always dreamed of owning my own business. I am happy today that I am doing something I truly enjoy. It has now been over twenty years since I’ve been in the financing business, fifteen years of arranging mortgages and over 10 years as an agent with Mortgage Alliance of Canada.

It was my drive to succeed as an entrepreneur that led me to become a mortgage agent and join forces with Mortgage Alliance. With them, I get access to the best rates and lender options, which I present to my clients. My affiliation with Mortgage Alliance has helped establish my reputation, which has helped my business successfully grow.

Over the years, I have noticed many forces influencing the industry, such as government policy, bank lending strategies, real estate market changes, and evolving consumer needs.

While these changes keep it interesting for me, they also present many challenges. My business overcame hurdles and continually thrives in this dynamic, competitive environment. Through dedicated research and on-going training, I continually keep up-to-date with the latest trends and regulations. This ensures that I provide my clients with the best options, regardless of the mortgage industry climate. 

Running my own business takes commitment, but I wouldn’t change it for any other job! I enjoy assisting others and believe in the phrase - ‘do what you love, and love what you do!’ I believe in working smart, not hard, which means functioning with efficiency. This also means working with integrity and respecting the needs of my clients, lenders, and real estate partners. It is this recipe that has created many referrals, as my clients and partners tell others about my high level of customer service and happily share their success stories.

I am proud of my track record and derive satisfaction from building an enthusiastic team of agents. I love mentoring them, and I am confident that they will continue to use my strategies to guide their own clients.  Building a team has its own rewards. I am lucky to be working with very motivated mortgage professionals.

When I am not working diligently for my clients or building my team, I enjoy spending time with my family. If you know me then you’ll also know that I am a diehard Toronto Raptors fan and spend a lot of my downtime watching their games. I am still on cloud nine after watching the team secure the 2019 NBA championship in such a convincing fashion. 

For all that I have received, I believe that it’s important to give back. I am proud to be able to support my former elementary school in Jamaica. I am providing them with much-needed computers and I am also sending school, sport and play supplies. I believe that every child needs as much help as they can get to fulfill their dreams. This is one of the true rewards of owning my own business!
